As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for inventory management, order fulfillment and shipping/receiving, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Salary Range Roofers: $12 - $18 per hour depending on experience

Here’s what Skillit needs from you:

  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain training is a plus.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring proper storage and labeling of materials.

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as required.

  • Load and unload trucks while following all safety procedures.

  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
