Two updates this month make it faster to find the right craft workers and easier to see what happened after a conversation closes.

Sharper "Must-Have" Search

If you've ever locked in a must-have skill or certification on Skillit and still ended up scrolling past candidates who didn't quite fit, our team fixed that.

What's changed: When you mark a search term as a must-have, your AI generated results now tighten to genuinely relevant craft workers instead of getting padded out with weak or partial matches. Locking a term finally does what it's supposed to do and our AI search will surface the candidates you are looking for.

Why it matters: This means less scrolling, less second-guessing, more confidence that the profiles in front of you actually meet your standards. Your must-haves are must-haves now.

No more clicking into a closed conversation just to figure out what happened.

What's changed: The Smart Inbox now shows a reason on every closed conversation. The options are Hired, Moving forward, Not a fit, Declined, or Not responsive and they appear  right on the card in the header so you can easily review all closed conversations quickly. 

Why it matters: You get the full picture of your pipeline at a glance, without extra clicks. This makes it easier to track outcomes and spot patterns across your searches.

Both updates are live now, with no action needed on your end. Just search and manage your inbox like you always have, and expect a smoother experience.
