Skillit Welcomes Jim Watson to our Advisory Board

We’re excited to share that Jim Watson has joined Skillit’s advisory board. 🎉

Jim is a seasoned construction leader with more than 40 years of experience building and scaling some of the industry’s most respected self-perform and labor operations. Most recently, he served as President of Liberty Specialty, an affiliate of Suffolk, where he led multi-trade self-perform strategies nationwide.

Before that, at Swinerton Builders, he helped grow self-perform operations to more than $700 million annually, employing thousands of craft professionals across union and open-shop markets.

Earlier in his career, Jim served as President and COO of The Raymond Group, where he oversaw operations, business optimization, and financial performance across multiple regions. He’s also served on several industry boards and associations, including WACA, and has been a key voice in collective bargaining and union relations throughout his career.

At Skillit, Jim will work closely with me and our leadership team to guide our national expansion and continued adoption among top ENR contractors, unions, and strategic partners.
