Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, graders, compactors, haul trucks, backhoes, and cranes

  • Move earth, dig trenches, load and transport materials according to project plans

  • Conduct pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks on machinery

  • Follow blueprints, site plans, and supervisor instructions accurately

  • Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and crew members to maintain workflow

  • Adhere strictly to OSHA and job-site safety regulations

  • Assist with physically demanding tasks when required (lifting/pushing/pulling 60+ lbs)

  • Operate equipment in varying weather conditions and exposure environments


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction equipment operator jobs or related field

  • Proven experience operating earthmoving or excavation machinery

  • Valid CDL or heavy equipment operator certification preferred

  • Experience with asphalt pavers, skid steers, loaders, dump trucks, dozers, and utility excavators is highly valued

  • Ability to understand GPS equipment and grade control systems

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

  • Physical stamina for long shifts in demanding job-site conditions

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
