Key responsibilities
Assemble, install, and repair underground water, sewer, and storm drainage pipes
Lay and secure metallic and PVC pipes including ductile iron, steel, and concrete
Prepare trenches through grading and leveling for accurate pipe placement
Assist equipment operators in guiding and positioning pipes
Mount and operate pipe lasers and transits for proper alignment
Perform leak testing and ensure installations meet specifications
Measure, cut, and fit piping systems accurately
Follow all safety regulations and job-site procedures
Required qualifications
Proven experience installing large-diameter water, sewer, and storm drain systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Physical stamina for long hours of demanding outdoor work
Ability to follow directions and perform tasks efficiently
Willingness to complete job-specific certifications (OSHA 10, confined space, rigging and signaling if required)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Minimum age requirement: 18+
