- • Oversee asphalt placement, compaction, surface finish, and joint work to meet project specifications
- • Coordinate equipment and truck logistics with operators and drivers to keep the mat moving and reduce downtime
- • Perform QA/QC checks on mix, density, and surface tolerances; record test results and report issues
- • Enforce safety and traffic control plans on site; run toolbox talks and monitor PPE and equipment safety
- • Communicate with project supervisors, schedulers, and inspectors to keep projects on time and within spec
What We're Looking For
- • 5+ years asphalt/paving field experience with proven foreman or lead role on roadway or sitework projects
- • Strong knowledge of asphalt placement, compaction techniques, and QA/QC procedures
- • Hands-on experience with paving and compaction equipment and basic heavy equipment maintenance
- • Familiarity with traffic control and flagging, ability to enforce safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- • Ability to read plans, follow specs and building/roadway codes, and document daily production
- • Physically fit for long days on site; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)

- • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
- • OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction safety card
- • Flagger/traffic control certification (state or local)
- • Paving equipment operator certification or documented operator experience; QA/QC asphalt training preferred
- • English required; Spanish or other languages a plus
What We Offer
- • Competitive pay with overtime opportunities and performance-based pay increases
- • Per diem and travel pay for out-of-area assignments
- • Health insurance options and retirement plan (401k) where available
- • Paid time off and holiday pay for full-time assignments
