Carpenter

About This Role

Join a commercial construction crew in West Palm Beach as a Carpenter performing hands-on layout, framing and installation work. You’ll build walls, install doors and windows, set platforms, and install temporary safety structures on active job sites. Work independently and with other trades to meet project tolerances and quality standards. This is physical work — you’ll measure, cut and assemble materials, maintain your tools, follow drawings and specs, and follow all site safety rules. Pay up to $30/hr depending on experience.

What You'll Do

• • Perform layout, rough and finish framing; install walls, doors, windows, platforms and trim per drawings.
• • Measure, cut and assemble wood, metal and other materials using saws, drills, nail guns and hand tools.
• • Install and maintain temporary structures: barricades, ramps, safety railings and protection.
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and field instructions; verify dimensions and layouts.
• • Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working order; keep work areas clean and organized.
• • Work with other trades, report safety hazards immediately, and ensure work meets project quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• • 3+ years commercial carpentry experience preferred with proven framing and finish skills.
• • Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, layout and site measurements.
• • Comfortable using power and hand tools: saws, drills, levels, nail guns, etc.
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/scaffolds and in active construction environments.
• • Follow all safety procedures and site rules; able to report unsafe conditions and use PPE as required.

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (support provided for certification)
• • 3+ years commercial carpentry experience preferred
• • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Ability to read English construction drawings and follow written/verbal instructions
