Concrete Carpenter Foreman

About This Role

Concrete Carpenter Foreman needed in Charlotte, NC to lead hands-on concrete formwork projects. You’ll run the crew, set and strip forms, install rebar, and make sure pours meet specs and schedule. This is a field-first role — you’ll be out on jobsites leading by example and solving real problems. You’ll coordinate with project managers and other trades, enforce safety rules, and keep quality high from layout through finishing. What You'll Do

• • Lead and manage concrete carpentry crews on-site; assign tasks and supervise daily work.
• • Layout, build, brace, and strip formwork for slabs, walls, beams, and footings; verify dimensions to plans.
• • Install and tie rebar in building concrete structures per drawings and specifications.
• • Coordinate pour schedules and work with project managers and other trades to keep projects on time.
• • Inspect formwork and concrete work for quality and safety; enforce PPE and jobsite safety practices.

What We're Looking For

• • 5+ years hands-on concrete carpentry/formwork experience with foreman or lead role experience.
• • Proven ability to install rebar in building concrete structures to plan specifications.
• • Read and follow blueprints, layout marks, and basic construction drawings.
• • Strong crew leadership, reliable attendance, and ability to manage daily schedules and materials.
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach Charlotte job sites; able to pass drug screen.

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 preferred.
• • NCCER carpentry or related trade certification preferred.
• • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• • Ability to pass background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license required.
• • Spanish language skills helpful but not required.
