Concrete Form Carpenter

About This Role

Concrete form carpenters needed in Miami, FL to build and set forms for residential and commercial concrete pours. You’ll measure, cut, assemble and brace formwork from drawings and work alongside crews on active job sites. This is hands-on, physical work on local Miami projects. We need reliable carpenters who know general framing and concrete formwork, follow prints, and work safely. If you have formwork and concrete experience and can get to site daily, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• • Read and follow construction drawings and form plans for concrete pours
• • Measure, cut and assemble formwork (panels, plywood, timber, metal systems) to required tolerances
• • Set, brace and align forms; install ties, anchors and embeds as specified
• • Strip and clean forms after concrete placement and make basic repairs for reuse
• • Work with concrete crews during placement—hold lines, adjust forms and maintain safe access
• • Keep tools, equipment and work areas organized; report damaged materials or safety hazards

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and general rough/framing carpentry
• • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout marks
• • Skill measuring, cutting and fitting wood and form materials to tight tolerances
• • Knowledge of concrete placement processes, ties, bracing and stripping procedures
• • Comfort working outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather
• • Reliable transportation to job sites and punctual attendance

Qualifications

• • Minimum 2+ years concrete formwork or related carpentry experience preferred
• • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred (or willing to obtain)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
• • Spanish language skills helpful but not required
