About This Role

Join a commercial construction crew in Georgia building rough wooden structures for concrete work and temporary site needs. You’ll frame vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, scaffolds, tunnel/bridge supports, billboards and temporary shelters from sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions. This role requires a hands-on carpenter who follows safety protocols, works outdoors in all weather, and provides their own basic tools. Three-plus years of commercial construction carpentry and concrete form experience is preferred. You’ll be expected to read plans, set layouts, and work with the crew to keep job sites safe and on schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Build vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, and blocking to plans or sketches
  • Construct and dismantle scaffolds, temporary shelters, tunnel/bridge supports, and billboard frames
  • Read and interpret sketches, blueprints, and layout lines; perform accurate measuring and cutting
  • Set, align, brace, and secure formwork; install steel framing for nonbearing walls and partitions as needed
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas; follow site safety procedures and report hazards or defects

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years commercial construction carpentry experience preferred
  • Proven experience with vertical/horizontal concrete forms and gang forms preferred
  • Must provide and maintain own basic carpentry tools (hammer, speed square, tape measure, chalk box, pliers, tool pouch, etc.)
  • Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints, perform site layout, and execute general framing carpentry
  • Must follow drug-free workplace policy, safety protocols, and be able to work outdoors in all weather and at heights

Qualifications

  • 3+ years commercial carpentry experience preferred
  • OSHA 10 (preferred) or equivalent safety training
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
  • Own basic carpentry tool set and ability to lift, climb, and work in all weather conditions
  • Basic conversational English for safety and team communication
