Concrete Carpenter

About This Role

Join a crew in Savannah, GA installing and assembling concrete forms for commercial and civil projects. You'll work hands-on every day laying out formwork, setting panels, tying rebar, and checking elevations to ensure concrete pours go smooth and true. We need dependable carpenters who read plans, measure accurately, and work well with others on site. Pay is $18–$45/hr depending on experience and certifications. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace, and strike concrete forms for slabs, walls, columns, and other structures
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and specifications to lay out formwork
• • Measure, cut, fit, and fasten form panels, plywood, and blocking with accurate leveling and alignment
• • Install form ties, walers, shores, and bracing; coordinate rebar layout and embed placement
• • Work with crew leads and trades on site to maintain schedule, quality, and jobsite safety

What We're Looking For

• • Proven formwork and concrete carpentry experience on commercial or civil projects
• • Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and layout plans
• • Strong measuring, cutting, framing, and general carpentry skills
• • Experience with leveling, alignment, and ensuring dimensional accuracy
• • Comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy materials, and following safety procedures

Qualifications

• • Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• • Minimum 2–4 years concrete formwork/carpentry experience preferred
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • OSHA 10 (or higher) preferred; safety training required before assignments
• • Experience on government or specialty projects a plus (may require additional clearance)
