Concrete Carpenter — Formwork Specialist

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters needed for per diem assignments in Buford, GA. You’ll build, set and strip concrete forms for commercial and government projects, work from construction drawings, and help ensure pours are accurate and on schedule. Pay ranges $15–$45/hr depending on experience. This is hands-on field work — travel assignments and per diem pay available. We want dependable crew members who know formwork, measure and cut precisely, and communicate well on site (English/Spanish). Team players with government project experience are a plus.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace and waterproof concrete forms according to drawings and specs
• • Read and interpret construction drawings, as-built drawings, and formwork details
• • Layout, measure and cut lumber, plywood and form materials to size with accuracy
• • Assist with concrete placement/pouring, tiebacks, and stripping forms after cure
• • Maintain tools, hardware and formwork components; keep work area clean and safe
• • Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to meet schedule and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial or government sites
• • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site layout plans
• • Skilled measuring, cutting, general framing carpentry and concrete placement support
• • Comfortable working on travel/per diem assignments and following site safety rules
• • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) and able to communicate clearly on site
• • Reliable, punctual, able to follow direction and work as part of a crew or lead small teams

Qualifications

• • Minimum 3 years concrete formwork/carpentry experience preferred
• • Bilingual: English and Spanish (required)
• • OSHA 10 (required) — OSHA 30 preferred
• • NCCER or other carpentry/formwork certification a plus
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check; eligible for government/arsenal site work
• • Current CPR/First Aid preferred
