Concrete Carpenter

About This Role

Join our crew as an experienced Concrete Carpenter for a long-term, permanent position in the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will place, form, strip and finish concrete on commercial and civil jobs — hands-on formwork, vibrating, screeding and clean-up. This is steady field work for skilled carpenters who take pride in solid, accurate concrete work. We need reliable tradespeople with practical formwork and finishing skills and a valid driver's license for travel between job sites around the Salt Lake City area. If you want steady hours, overtime when available, and a straightforward, no-nonsense crew environment, this job is a fit.

What You'll Do

• • Set, build and secure concrete formwork to specs and drawings
• • Place, consolidate and finish concrete using hand and power tools and vibrators
• • Strip forms, patch walkways and clean-up work areas after pours
• • Measure, layout and adjust formwork; read basic plans and grade stakes
• • Operate site equipment safely and follow jobsite safety procedures
• • Communicate with foremen and crew to maintain schedule and quality

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience with concrete formwork, placement and finishing
• • Skilled with concrete finishing tools, vibrators, screeds and hand tools
• • Strong general carpentry skills for building and bracing forms
• • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
• • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift 50+ lbs
• • Dependable attendance, punctuality and ability to follow directions

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license (required)
• • OSHA-10 construction card preferred
• • Concrete finishing or formwork certification a plus
• • Spanish-speaking crew members encouraged to apply (helpful but not required)
