About this role

Join a hands-on concrete crew in Forsyth, GA as a Craftsman 1 working day shift. This role focuses on concrete formwork, placement support and finishing on local projects. You’ll work directly on slab and flatwork tasks with a crew that values skill and dependability. The right candidate has 3–4 years of concrete carpentry experience and is comfortable reading drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and performing general framing and finishing work. Per diem is provided for workers on assignment; reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset are required.

What you'll do

• • Read and interpret plans and layout lines for concrete formwork and pours
• • Build, set and align wood and metal concrete forms and form ties to specified dimensions
• • Measure, cut and install shear panels, sleepers, and concrete edge forms using hand and power tools
• • Assist with concrete placement and pouring operations, including bracing and joint layout
• • Perform concrete finishing tasks: screeding, floating, troweling, and initial curing support
• • Maintain tools and equipment, keep work area clean, and follow site safety procedures

What we're looking for

• • 3–4 years of concrete carpentry experience (formwork, placement, finishing)
• • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout marks
• • Skilled in general rough carpentry, measuring, cutting and framing techniques
• • Knowledge of concrete materials, placement methods and finishing best practices
• • Familiarity with formwork carpentry and bracing practices
• • Able to work day shift on local Forsyth, GA projects with reliable attendance

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 or site safety card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Forsyth, GA job sites
• • Able to pass standard background and drug screening as required by site
• • 3–4 years documented concrete carpentry experience and strong references available
