About This Role

Join a team of experienced carpenters in Orlando focused on precision cutting, accurate measuring, and professional installation of millwork and Division 10 hardware. This role is hands-on: you’ll be working on countertops, cabinets, doors, windows, trim, and paneling in both commercial and residential settings. Ideal candidates have strong finish and bench carpentry skills, can read technical drawings and site layouts, and take pride in clean, accurate workmanship. You’ll collaborate with installers and project crews to meet specs, schedules, and quality standards on each jobsite.

What You'll Do

  • Perform custom measuring, layout, and precision cutting for countertops, cabinets, trim, doors, windows, and paneling.
  • Install products to specification — cabinet sets, countertops, door hardware, Division 10 items — ensuring correct fit and function.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical details; verify site layout matches drawings.
  • Perform general framing, finish carpentry, and on-site adjustments to achieve a clean, finished look.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, keep job sites clean and safe, and follow company safety procedures.
  • Communicate with crew members and project leads to coordinate schedules, materials, and client requests.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in bench carpentry and general finish carpentry, including trim and paneling.
  • Hands-on experience installing countertops, cabinets, doors, hardware, and windows in commercial and/or residential jobs.
  • Strong measuring and cutting skills, plus ability to interpret technical drawings and site layouts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with team members and clients; reliable on-time attendance.
  • General framing and construction experience; able to perform layout and basic site prep.
  • Comfort with Division 10 hardware installation and ensuring hardware meets specifications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • OSHA 10 (or higher) preferred; willingness to obtain required safety certifications.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where required.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders/scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.
  • Spanish language skills a plus for crew communication.

What We Offer

  • Steady, local work in the Orlando market with growth of project opportunities.
  • Competitive hourly pay with overtime available based on hours and project needs.
  • Tool/travel stipend, paid time off, and paid holidays for qualifying employees.
  • Health insurance options (medical/dental) and retirement plan availability.
  • On-the-job training, certification support, and opportunities for skill advancement.
