Concrete Carpenter — Data Center (New Albany, OH)

About This Role

Hiring experienced concrete carpenters for a new-build data center project in the New Albany, OH area. This is hands-on commercial work focused on concrete formwork, site layout and coordination with multiple trades on a fast-moving jobsite. You should be comfortable reading drawings, setting and stripping forms, and working with crews on slab, wall and stair formwork. We're looking for reliable carpenters with at least 3 years on commercial sites who want steady work and clear pay ($22–$35/hr) for good performance.

What You'll Do

• • Lay out and build concrete formwork for slabs, walls, footings and stairs per drawings
• • Set, brace and align forms; pour, finish and strip as directed
• • Read and follow construction drawings, elevations and layout stakes
• • Coordinate with concrete crews, ironworkers and other trades on site
• • Operate hand and power tools, rigging and signaling for lifts as needed
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas; install scaffolding and in-wall blocking when required

What We're Looking For

• • 3+ years of commercial concrete carpentry or formwork experience on new-build projects
• • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans and elevations
• • Proven skills in form building, bracing, measuring and cutting
• • Comfort working around cranes, concrete pumping operations and multiple trades
• • Physically able to lift, carry and work on ladders/scaffolds for full shifts
• • Reliable transportation to New Albany, OH jobsite and dependable attendance

Qualifications

• • Minimum 3 years commercial concrete/formwork experience
• • OSHA 10-hour preferred or willing to obtain
• • Crane signaling/rigging experience or certification a plus
• • Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a drug screen
• • Basic English reading skills to interpret drawings and safety instructions
