About this role

Experienced commercial doors, frames, and hardware installer needed in Colorado Springs, CO. You will work across multiple job sites and in the shop, following project sequencing and daily pre-task plans. The right candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player. Expect to use hand and power tools, perform basic welding and frame prep, handle prefinished doors without damaging them, and install a range of locks, hinges, and hardware to project specifications. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to several job sites in one day are required.

What you'll do

  • Install commercial doors, metal frames, and hardware from plans, templates, and manufacturer literature
  • Prepare and weld door frames as needed; perform frame prep and alignment
  • Handle and hang prefinished doors carefully; patch dents/dings with Bondo or similar products
  • Read and interpret drawings, plan details, and manufacturer instructions on each opening
  • Create and follow daily pre-task plans and shop sequencing to meet project schedules
  • Travel between multiple job sites in a single day and maintain clean, safe jobsite conditions

  • Able to read drawings, templates, and plan details; follow manufacturer literature
  • Proficient with hand tools, battery-powered drills, and basic welding for frame prep

  • Reliable transportation to travel to multiple Colorado Springs job sites per day
  • Self-motivated, punctual, able to work as part of a crew and follow shop sequencing/workflow

Qualifications
