Carpenter Foreman

Denver, Colorado $28-$36/hr

About this role

Join a busy Denver jobsite as a hands-on Carpenter Foreman. You’ll lead small crews and perform both rough and finish carpentry — layout, framing, concrete formwork, cabinet installation, steel interior framing, and wood floor installation and finishing. Expect full-time, on-site work with early starts and occasional overtime as project needs require. This role is practical and physical: read plans, set up layouts, train and direct crew members, maintain tools and materials, and keep work areas safe and productive. Ideal for a skilled carpenter who can both do the work and supervise others to meet schedule and quality targets.

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day crew tasks for rough and finish carpentry on Denver-area sites
  • Perform layout, measuring, cutting, fitting and installation of framing, partitions, cabinets, and trim
  • Build and strip concrete forms, assist with excavation/trench support, and coordinate with concrete crews
  • Install steel interior framing for nonbearing walls and partitions and ensure plumb, square installation
  • Install, sand and finish wood flooring and perform bench carpentry and cabinetmaking tasks as needed
  • Maintain tools and equipment, enforce site safety rules, document progress, and communicate with superintendents and other trades

What we're looking for

  • Proven hands-on experience in rough and finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, and bench work
  • Skilled with concrete formwork, steel interior framing, general framing carpentry, and wood floor installation/finishing
  • Experience supervising or leading a small crew on commercial or multi-family projects
  • Ability to read plans, perform layout and basic takeoffs, and work from framing and finish details
  • Comfortable with physical labor: lifting, climbing scaffolds/ladders, and working outdoors in varied conditions
  • Reliable transportation to Denver-area jobsites and punctual, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 (required) — OSHA 30 preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • English required; Spanish language skills a plus

What we offer

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage available
  • Retirement savings plan (401k) with employer match options
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Overtime opportunities and steady, long-term project work
  • Tool/boot allowance or reimbursement and access to skills training
