Carpenter — Concrete Formwork (Atlanta, GA)

About This Role

Experienced concrete carpenters needed in the Atlanta, GA area to build, assemble and secure formwork for commercial and government projects. This is hands-on field work—you'll be setting forms, bracing, and helping with pours alongside a crew. Pay is up to $25/hr with per diem for eligible travel assignments. Open to workers willing to relocate; steady project work and opportunities to work on heavy equipment and rigging tasks for crews that follow clear safety standards.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace and strip concrete forms per drawings and specs
• • Lay out formwork and site layout using construction/civil drawings
• • Install concrete reinforcing and assist with placement, pouring and curing
• • Inspect forms and finished work for accuracy and quality; make corrections
• • Work with crew members on rigging, heavy equipment hookups, and safe site operations

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience building and assembling concrete formwork (commercial/gov projects preferred)
• • Ability to read and interpret construction and civil drawings
• • Hands-on skills with concrete placement, finishing support, reinforcing and form ties
• • Comfort operating around heavy equipment (skidsteer) and performing rigging tasks
• • Dependable attendance, ability to work overtime and in extreme weather, and willingness to relocate for projects
• • Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken) and able to communicate on-site

Qualifications

• • Must be fluent in English and Spanish (spoken)
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred
• • OSHA-10 (or OSHA-30) preferred
• • Certs for skidsteer/forklift or rigging a plus
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • Authorized to work in the U.S.
