Concrete Carpenter

About This Role

Concrete Carpenter needed in Forsyth, GA to lay out, build and install concrete forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts per plans and specifications. This role focuses on structural formwork, concrete placement and finishing using hand and power tools on commercial and civil projects. You’ll read and interpret prints, measure and cut materials, install spreaders and tie-rods, brace forms, pour concrete and finish surfaces to spec. Work is physical and outdoors — crews run on schedule and safety is required on every job.

What You'll Do

• • Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications to prepare formwork layout
• • Measure, cut, assemble and install wooden and prefabricated concrete forms and scaffolding
• • Install rebar, embeds, anchor bolts, spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions and alignment
• • Brace and secure forms using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks and timber
• • Pour concrete, finish surfaces to specifications and protect/ cure concrete as directed
• • Maintain hand and power tools, inspect work for quality and follow site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry and structural form installation (commercial/civil)
• • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, civil drawings and technical plans
• • Skilled with hand and power tools; able to measure, cut and assemble formwork accurately
• • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and lifting heavy materials regularly
• • Knowledge of rebar placement, anchors, rigging and basic scaffolding/frame & brace setup
• • Strong attention to layout, dimensions and finishing details; reliable and punctual

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willing to obtain
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Forsyth-area sites
• • 3+ years concrete formwork/carpentry experience preferred
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check
• • Basic English reading ability required to interpret plans; Spanish a plus
