Two openings available for reliable, hardworking candidates who take pride in safe, quality work.
What You'll Do
- • Build, position and secure stick-built or manufactured form systems for concrete pours
- • Use saws, hammers, drills, tampers, mixers and other hand/power tools to cut, measure and assemble materials
- • Mix, pour, spread and finish concrete as directed; shovel and handle concrete materials
- • Erect, brace and take down scaffolding, shoring, traffic barricades and other temporary structures
- • Prepare and clean job sites, dig and backfill trenches, load/unload materials and maintain a safe work area
- • Signal equipment operators and assist heavy equipment movement and alignment on site
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience constructing concrete formwork and working on heavy civil projects
- • Comfortable working at heights and near or over water; not afraid of confined/rigid environments
- • Able to operate common carpentry and concrete tools safely (saws, drills, levels, tape measures, tampers)
- • Physically able to lift/move heavy materials (frequent lifts over 50–80+ lbs) and work long hours outdoors
- • Willing to work nights, weekends and occasional overnight travel as required
- • Reliable transportation to job sites and regular, predictable attendance
Qualifications
- • Minimum 21 years old
- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • Experience with concrete formwork carpentry; bridge construction experience a plus
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- • OSHA-10 (or OSHA-30) and scaffold/erector training preferred
- • Ability to read basic plans, measure accurately and follow written/verbal instructions
What We Offer
- • Competitive hourly pay with overtime opportunities
- • Consistent, year-round work on public and heavy civil projects
- • PPE provided and on-the-job safety training
- • Paid travel time and per diem for overnight assignments
- • Opportunities for skills training and certifications
