Carpenter — Concrete Formsetter

About This Role

Hands-on Carpenter needed in Cherry Hills Village, CO to set, brace and strip concrete forms using steel ply panels (Symons) and gates forms. You’ll be working on foundations and concrete structures, ensuring forms are level, aligned and secure for safe, accurate pours. We need a dependable tradesperson who reads layout and civil drawings, rigs and braces formwork, and inspects work for fit and plumb. What You'll Do

• • Set, align and brace steel ply (Symons) panels and gates forms for foundations and walls
• • Read civil and construction drawings to lay out formwork and confirm elevations
• • Apply proper rigging, anchor and bracing techniques to secure forms before pours
• • Inspect forms for level, plumb and tight joints; make adjustments and report issues
• • Work with crew during concrete placement, assist with reinforcing, finishing protection and stripping
• • Maintain tools, clean work area and follow site safety and scaffolding procedures

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience with steel ply (Symons) panels and gates forms or equivalent formwork systems
• • Comfortable reading and interpreting civil drawings, layouts and elevations
• • Hands-on carpentry/formsetting skills: layout, rigging, bracing and form ties
• • Familiarity with concrete placement, finishing protection, curing and stripping
• • Ability to work safely on scaffolding, in varied weather and lift heavy materials
• • Reliable attendance, punctuality and ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10-hour Construction card (preferred) or equivalent safety training
• • NCCER Carpentry or formwork certification a plus; documented formsetter experience required
• • Rigging experience or rigger certification preferred
• • Ability to read English site drawings; Spanish language skills a plus
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Current CPR/First Aid preferred
