About This Role
Seeking skilled carpenters based in El Paso, TX for local residential and commercial construction projects. You’ll do on-site framing, installations, and general carpentry work on active construction sites across the city. This is hands-on work: read and interpret basic construction drawings, measure and cut materials accurately, and follow safe jobsite practices. Local routes mean no overnight travel — reliable local carpenters who show up ready to work are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- • Perform rough and framing carpentry: wall, floor, and roof framing
- • Install doors, windows, trim, and basic millwork as required
- • Read and interpret basic construction drawings and layout plans
- • Measure, mark, and cut materials to specified dimensions
- • Set up and maintain jobsite tools and keep work areas clean and safe
What We're Looking For
- • Proven ability in general rough and framing carpentry
- • Comfortable reading and interpreting basic construction drawings
- • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safe work practices
- • Accurate measuring and cutting skills with hand and power tools
- • Experience on both residential and commercial construction sites
Qualifications
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- • Ability to pass a basic background check and drug screen
- • Physical ability to lift, climb, and work on ladders/scaffolds
- • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
