Interior Carpenter

Cartersville, GA

About This Role

Experienced Interior Carpenter wanted for a hands-on construction project in Cartersville, GA. You’ll install and finish interior structures — trim, doors, cabinetry, drywall and built-ins — working from plans and dimensions. This is physical, detail-focused work on active job sites. We need a reliable carpenter who knows finish work, can use hand and power tools safely, read basic plans, and take pride in clean, accurate installations. Projects are local to Cartersville with steady hours and opportunities for extra shifts.

What You'll Do

  • Measure, cut and install interior framing, door and window casings, baseboards, crown molding and other trim
  • Install cabinetry, countertops, shelving and built-in units; ensure proper fit and secure fastening
  • Hang, tape and finish drywall around trim and openings as required for finish carpentry
  • Read basic plans and layout drawings; perform accurate take-offs and material measurements
  • Operate hand and power tools safely (saws, routers, nail guns, sanders) and maintain tools
  • Keep work areas clean, perform end-of-day cleanup, and follow site safety rules

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of interior carpentry or finish carpentry experience on residential or light commercial jobs
  • Strong measuring, layout and finish skills — tight tolerances and clean joints
  • Comfortable using common hand and power tools; able to work from templates and jigs
  • Reliable transportation to Cartersville job sites and dependable on-time attendance
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, work on ladders and perform physical tasks

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Able to pass a basic drug screen and background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • English required; Spanish a plus

What We Offer

  • Weekly pay — competitive rate based on experience
  • Overtime available on long days and weekend shifts
  • Tool allowance or reimbursement for essential tools
  • PPE and job-site safety equipment provided
  • Consistent local work with opportunities for extra shifts
