Carpenter — Millwork Installer

About This Role

Join a hands-on crew in Miami focused on millwork installation. Pay range $15–$45/hr depending on experience. You’ll install cabinets, countertops, wall panels and trim on commercial and residential projects across the Miami area. This role is for a skilled carpenter who reads drawings, measures and cuts to tight tolerances, and works with teammates and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. You must follow safety rules, maintain your tools, and communicate clearly in English and Spanish.

What You'll Do

• • Install millwork: cabinets, countertops, wall panels, trim and paneling with attention to fit and finish
• • Read and interpret shop drawings and layout sites; measure, mark, cut and fit materials on-site
• • Operate hand and power tools safely; set up and work from frame & brace and system scaffolding
• • Load/unload materials, protect installed work, and perform regular site clean-up
• • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report shortages or defects
• • Coordinate with superintendents, foremen and other trades; follow project schedules and safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• • Proven finish/millwork carpentry skills: cabinet installation, countertop work, trim and paneling
• • Able to read and interpret drawings, perform site layout, and make precise measurements and cuts
• • Experience with cabinetmaking, wall panels and general finish carpentry
• • Familiarity with scaffold systems (frame & brace and system scaffolding) and safe setup practices
• • Strong verbal and written communication; able to coordinate with superintendents and foremen
• • Ability to load/unload materials, handle physical work, and keep work areas clean

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (required)
• • Bilingual: Spanish and English (required)
• • Prior millwork or finish carpentry experience (preferred)
• • Scaffolding training/certification (frame & brace or system) preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• • Able to pass drug screen and background check (as required by project sites)
