Carpenter - Power Delivery

About This Role

Join a field crew in Lebanon, IN performing rough and finish carpentry on power delivery projects. You’ll build and repair wood and wallboard fixtures, set forms and structural decks, and install doors, millwork, and drywall—all to local code and project specs. This role is hands-on work every day: setting up tool trailers and erosion-control, reading plans to measure and order materials, unloading and erecting prefabricated pieces, and supporting journeymen and foremen on grade and layout. Good attendance, basic blueprint skills, and the ability to lift and carry materials matter here.

What You'll Do

  • Set up site trailers, tool trailers/conexes and install erosion-control per plan (silt fences, straw bales).
  • Read blueprints, sketches and plans to determine materials, measurements and layout.
  • Perform concrete and rough carpentry: hand-set forms, walls, footings, gang forms, and structural decks.
  • Install drywall, doors, frames, hardware, millwork and cabinetry; complete finish carpentry tasks.
  • Unload, handle, stockpile and erect prefabricated materials and assist journeymen/foremen on layout and shooting grades.
  • Build temporary structures (decks, stairs, roofs), set up scaffolding, and keep jobsite clean and safe.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years carpentry experience on construction sites (rough and finish carpentry).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to jobsite; clean driving record preferred.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools; able to measure, cut and install materials to spec.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and basic layout instructions.
  • Physically able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, dependable attendance and commitment to jobsite safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years carpentry experience; trade or technical school diploma preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass company driving requirements.
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction card preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to read English and follow oral/written instructions; bilingual candidates welcome.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate for projects when required.
