Journeyman Form Carpenter

About This Role

Join a fast-paced data center project in Lockhart, TX as a Journeyman Form Carpenter. This is hands-on work building, setting, and stripping concrete forms on a large commercial/industrial site. You’ll work closely with concrete crews and trades to keep slabs, walls, and foundations on schedule. We need experienced form carpenters who read drawings, lay out work accurately, and take pride in clean, safe workmanship. This is steady, long-term project work with overtime opportunities and on-site supervision — great for carpenters who want consistent hours and clear, practical tasks.

What You'll Do

• • Build, set, brace and strip wood and metal concrete forms per drawings and specification
• • Read and interpret plans for layout, anchors, embeds, and form geometry
• • Measure, cut and install lumber and form components; perform general framing and rough carpentry
• • Coordinate with concrete crews for pours, placement, and finishing; assist with concrete repair and paving tasks as needed
• • Maintain tools and equipment, keep work area clean, and follow site safety and PPE requirements

What We're Looking For

• • Journeyman-level form carpentry experience on commercial/industrial projects
• • Able to read and interpret drawings, perform layout and take accurate measurements
• • Skilled in general rough carpentry, framing, measuring and cutting
• • Hands-on experience with concrete formwork, repair, and paving methods
• • Physically able to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and work outdoors in varying conditions

Qualifications

• • Journeyman card/classification or documented journeyman-level experience
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or OSHA 30 certification
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Lockhart, TX
• • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • Comfort lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights
