Carpenter / Production Worker (Per Diem)

About This Role

Join a hands-on production team in Los Lunas, NM as a Carpenter / Production Worker (per diem). You’ll work in an indoor fabrication facility building assemblies and setting up beds for concrete pours. This is physical, steady work for people who like using tools, following clear procedures, and getting things done right. Day-to-day you’ll operate hand and power tools, load and unload materials, package finished product, and perform detailed quality checks. Safety, punctuality, and teamwork are essential. What You'll Do

• • Set up and prepare beds for concrete pouring and assist with concrete-related assemblies
• • Fabricate, assemble, and fit components according to drawings and production instructions
• • Operate standard hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment
• • Load, unload, stage materials and package products for shipping
• • Perform detailed quality checks and record results; fix or report defects
• • Keep work area clean and safe; follow production schedules with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For

• • 1–2 years relevant experience in carpentry, fabrication, or light manufacturing
• • Ability to operate standard hand and power tools and perform measuring/cutting
• • Comfort working to precise tolerances and following written work instructions/drawings
• • Team player with good communication skills and a safety-first attitude
• • Able to perform repetitive hand/arm motions and lift/carry up to 50 lbs (assistance or equipment for heavier lifts)
• • Punctual, reliable attendance and willingness to follow supervisor direction

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred; trade/technical school certificate/diploma a plus
• • OSHA 10 or other safety training preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• • Basic blueprint/drawing reading and measuring skills
• • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• • Reliable transportation and ability to work per diem schedule in Los Lunas, NM
