Lead Carpenter / Framing Foreman — Steel & Metal Stud

About This Role

Seeking experienced Lead Carpenters or Framing Foremen with strong steel stud and metal stud framing skills for commercial projects. You’ll run layout, lead crews, install interior nonbearing and exterior partition systems, and keep jobs safe, on schedule, and built right. Ideal candidates come from regions with a high supply of skilled workers and are open to relocation. What You'll Do

• • Lead and supervise crews installing steel stud and metal stud framing on commercial jobs.
• • Read blueprints, perform site and project layout, and translate plans into accurate builds.
• • Install interior nonbearing, exterior nonbearing, and partition systems to spec and code.
• • Coordinate material deliveries, schedule crews, and manage subcontractor interfaces.
• • Enforce jobsite safety, inspect quality, maintain tools and equipment, and mentor crew members.
• • Keep daily production logs, report progress to project management, and troubleshoot field issues.

What We're Looking For

• • 5+ years as a Lead Carpenter or Framing Foreman on commercial projects.
• • Proven expertise in steel stud and metal stud framing for interior/exterior nonbearing and partitions.
• • Strong site layout skills and ability to read/interpret blueprints and specs.
• • Track record of crew management, scheduling, and meeting productivity targets.
• • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to relocate or travel to high-availability regions.

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred)
• • NCCER Carpentry or equivalent certification preferred
• • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• • Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen
• • English required; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
