Carpenter - Forney, TX

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter in Forney, TX to join our crew. You’ll handle trim, paneling, wood framing, site layout and general carpentry on residential and light commercial jobs. Work independently or with a small crew to complete quality installations on schedule. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements, and a practical, safety-first approach on site. What You'll Do

• • Read and interpret blueprints and layout plans; mark and measure work areas.
• • Cut, shape and install trim, paneling, door and window casings, and other finish materials.
• • Construct and assemble wood framing, blocking and structural elements per specs.
• • Ensure leveling, alignment and final fit—check accuracy and finish quality at each stage.
• • Maintain a clean, organized and safe worksite; follow safety procedures and report hazards.

What We're Looking For

• • 3+ years hands-on carpentry experience with trim, paneling and wood framing.
• • Ability to read blueprints, perform site layout and take precise measurements.
• • Skilled with hand and power tools: saws, levels, nailers, routers and chisels.
• • Strong attention to detail; able to maintain alignment and finish standards.
• • Able to work on ladders and scaffolding and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• • Reliable, punctual, able to work independently or as part of a crew.

Qualifications

• • High school diploma or GED preferred
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • OSHA 10-hour construction safety card preferred
• • 3+ years documented carpentry experience or completed apprenticeship
• • Ability to pass background and drug screening as required
