About this role

We’re hiring experienced construction laborers with solid concrete experience to support a mix of general construction and concrete projects across the country. This role is hands-on: you’ll help with flatwork and structural pours, formwork, rebar, finishing and general site duties. Expect frequent travel for out-of-area projects. This job is physical and fast-paced. You must be dependable, able to work long shifts in varied weather, follow site safety rules, and get to jobs on time. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70% are required.

What you'll do

  • Perform general construction labor and assist with concrete flatwork and structural pours
  • Set, brace and strip concrete forms; read grade stakes and help maintain proper elevations
  • Tie and install rebar and other reinforcement as directed
  • Assist with placing, spreading, leveling, finishing and curing concrete
  • Load, unload and organize tools and materials; keep the jobsite clean and safe
  • Follow site safety procedures and supervisor instructions; report hazards promptly

What we're looking for

  • Previous construction labor experience with hands-on concrete work
  • Ability to perform demanding outdoor work in heat, cold and varied weather
  • Willingness to do general labor tasks in addition to concrete duties
  • Ability to travel up to 70% for out-of-area projects and stay overnight as required
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality and ability to work extended shifts

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Experience with concrete flatwork, form setting and rebar tying
  • Able to lift regularly, stand and work long shifts on feet
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% (overnight stays common)
  • OSHA 10 or site safety certificate preferred

What we offer

  • Per-diem or travel reimbursements for out-of-area assignments
  • Overtime opportunities on many projects
  • Site safety training and on-the-job skills development
  • PPE and basic jobsite tools provided or tool allowance
  • Steady work with local and travel assignments
