Full Time
Concrete Foreman
About This Role
Hands-on Concrete Foreman needed in San Antonio, TX. You’ll run jobsite pours, set forms and rebar, finish concrete, and keep the crew on schedule. Expect a mix of commercial and residential work across the city — steady local routes, no long out-of-town trips. Pay is $28–36/hr depending on experience. Full-time with overtime available. We want a leader who works alongside the crew, enforces safety, reads basic plans and grade stakes, and delivers clean, on-time pours.
What You'll Do
- • Supervise and lead a crew on concrete pours — layout, formwork, reinforcement, placing, finishing and curing
- • Operate and maintain finishing equipment (screeds, trowels, concrete saws, floats) and small power tools
- • Read basic plans, set grades, and use levels/laser for accurate placement
- • Coordinate materials, concrete truck scheduling, and subcontractors to keep pours on time
- • Inspect finished work for quality, control joints, tolerances and proper curing; correct defects on site
- • Enforce site safety, PPE use, and maintain tools, equipment and vehicle cleanliness
What We're Looking For
- • 3+ years experience as a concrete foreman or lead finisher on commercial/residential projects
- • Strong finishing skills: screeding, floating, power trowel, edging and jointing
- • Able to read basic blueprints, grade stakes and use leveling tools
- • Proven ability to lead and train a crew, manage daily production and keep jobs on schedule
- • Physically fit — lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, work in all weather; reliable transport to job sites
Qualifications
- • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 preferred
- • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- • Valid driver’s license; clean driving record required; CDL preferred but not required
- • Concrete finishing or trade certificates (NCCER, local trade school) a plus
- • Able to pass drug screen and background check
- • Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
What We Offer
- • Competitive pay $28–36/hr based on experience; OT paid after 40 hours
- • Weekly or biweekly paycheck with direct deposit available
- • Health, dental and vision benefits available after 60 days
- • Paid holidays and accrued paid time off
- • Tool allowance or reimbursement and PPE provided
- • Local routes — steady work in the San Antonio area with opportunities for advancement
