Concrete Worker

About This Role

Join our crew as a Concrete Worker in Atlanta, GA. You’ll prepare and set forms, mix and place concrete, and finish surfaces for sidewalks, foundations, walls, curbs and floors. This is physical, hands-on work that requires attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures. Expect long periods of lifting, stooping and standing. Work is performed on active construction sites in a drug-free environment. Competitive pay, steady hours and opportunities for overtime available for experienced, reliable workers.

What You'll Do

• • Set and align concrete forms for walls, beams, floors, curbs, sidewalks and foundations
• • Mix, place, screed and finish poured concrete using hand and power tools
• • Cut expansion joints and patch voids; point and repair concrete as needed
• • Measure, layout and check work for level and plumb; maintain accurate site layout
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all site safety protocols and PPE rules

What We're Looking For

• • Hands-on experience with concrete formwork, placement and finishing
• • Ability to use hand and power tools: saws, screeds, trowels, vibrators and jointers
• • Able to perform physical labor: lift 50+ lbs, stoop, kneel, climb, and stand for long periods
• • Follow safety procedures and pass pre-employment drug screen
• • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred
• • First Aid/CPR and other safety certifications a plus
• • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• • English required; Spanish language skills helpful
