Concrete Worker

About this role

We are hiring Concrete Workers in Atlanta to prepare, set and finish concrete forms for foundations, walls, floors, curbs and sidewalks. This is a hands-on role: you’ll mix, place and finish concrete, align forms, patch voids and use hand and power tools to deliver quality work on schedule. Work is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, proper use of tools, and strict adherence to site safety and drug-free policies. If you’re dependable, able to work outdoors in varying temperatures, and ready to get the job done, this role offers steady, field-based work with clear expectations.

What you'll do

• • Prepare, build and set concrete formwork for walls, beams, floors, foundations, curbs and sidewalks
• • Mix, place, screed and finish poured concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• • Align forms, check layouts and measurements, and patch voids or imperfections
• • Cut expansion joints and use saws and grinders as required for finishing
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist with site cleanup and material handling
• • Follow site safety plans, use PPE, and report hazards or defective equipment immediately

What we're looking for

• • Hands-on experience with concrete formwork carpentry and finishing
• • Ability to mix, place and finish concrete and perform basic curing/protection tasks
• • Comfort working outdoors for long periods in hot or cold conditions and performing repetitive physical tasks
• • Proficient with hand and power tools, measuring, layout and cutting
• • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and layout plans
• • Willingness to follow and enforce site safety rules and work in a drug-free environment

Qualifications

• • OSHA 10-hour Construction card preferred or willing to obtain
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• • High school diploma or GED or equivalent field experience
• • English required; Spanish or other languages a plus
