Concrete Formsetter
About This Role
Looking for a hands-on Concrete Formsetter to build and align forms for retaining walls and foundations in Cherry Hills Village, CO. You’ll work with Symons/forms systems, set bracing, tie reinforcing, and make sure each pour meets specs and holds up long-term. Pay up to $30/hr. This role is for someone who knows concrete formwork carpentry, placement, and reinforcing. Spanish speakers are required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates — steady work for experienced tradespeople who take pride in quality formwork.
What You'll Do
- • Set up, align and brace Symons and other forms for retaining walls and foundations
- • Install and secure form ties, walers, and bracing to maintain dimensions during pour
- • Coordinate with crew during concrete placement and assist with finishing as needed
- • Place and tie reinforcing steel per plans and inspect formwork for structural integrity
- • Keep the jobsite safe and organized: daily checks, tool care, cleanup, and PPE use
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience with concrete formwork carpentry and Symons/form systems (2+ years preferred)
- • Skilled in concrete reinforcing, placement/pouring, and general concrete work
- • Able to read basic plans/layouts and use measuring tools to set accurate forms
- • Physically fit: lift heavy materials, work on uneven ground, and stand for long shifts
- • Spanish language proficiency required for on-site communication
Qualifications
- • Spanish language proficiency (required)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willing to obtain
- • First Aid/CPR preferred; able to pass drug screen and background check
