Concrete Worker — Shop & Nationwide Travel
About This Role
Full-time concrete worker needed for shop-based work in Woodstock, GA with required travel to job sites nationwide. You’ll split time between preparing jobs in the shop and traveling to pour, place, and finish concrete on commercial and industrial projects. Refractory experience is highly valued; concrete placement, rebar work, and general concrete skills are required. This is a hands-on role — expect physical work, travel, and overtime opportunities. What You'll Do
- • Set up forms, place and finish concrete pours at shop and job sites
- • Tie and place rebar and accessories to plans and specs
- • Operate hand and light power tools for cutting, finishing, and patching
- • Mix and apply refractory materials in the shop when needed
- • Load/unload materials and maintain shop tools and equipment
- • Travel to job sites nationwide, follow site safety rules, and complete work on schedule
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience with concrete placement, pouring, and finishing
- • Skilled in rebar placement/tie-off and formwork layout
- • Comfortable with physical labor: lifting, climbing, and working outdoors
- • Available for regular nationwide travel and extended job-site stays
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to pass background and drug screen
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED preferred
- • OSHA 10-hour construction safety (or willingness to obtain)
- • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- • Refractory experience or certifications strongly preferred
