Shotcrete / Gunite Technician

About This Role

Shotcrete / Gunite technicians needed for shutdown work nationwide. You’ll run nozzle, operate pumps, prep surfaces and spray concrete on short-turn projects at industrial shutdowns and infrastructure sites. Travel is regular — assignments run across the country. This role is based out of Woodstock, GA with nationwide travel. We want experienced nozzlemen and crew who know shotcrete/gunite processes, can work long shifts during shutdown windows, and maintain equipment and safety standards on fast-paced jobs.

What You'll Do

• • Set up and operate shotcrete/gunite pumps, compressors, and nozzle equipment during shutdowns
• • Prep surfaces, build forms/shotcrete masks, and ensure proper substrate cleaning and rebar exposure
• • Apply shotcrete/gunite to meet specified thickness, slope and finish requirements; control rebound and overspray
• • Finish and trowel surfaces as required; repair defects and perform touch-up work
• • Maintain and service equipment, manage materials and cleanup jobsite; follow confined-space and plant safety rules

What We're Looking For

• • Proven experience spraying shotcrete or gunite on industrial or infrastructure projects
• • Skilled in concrete finishing, placement/pouring and general concrete work
• • Able to work shutdown schedules: long hours, nights, weekends and travel with short notice
• • Physical fitness for lifting, climbing and working in confined spaces; comfortable with heights and PPE
• • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• • ACI Shotcrete/Nozzleman certification or equivalent preferred
• • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety card
• • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• • Valid driver’s license; passport or appropriate ID for travel helpful
• • English required; Spanish a plus
