About This Role
Join a hands-on concrete crew in Arlington, VA. You’ll support commercial pours by stripping formwork, vibrating and placing concrete, running bucket operations, and handling materials under site supervision. This role is a mix of general labor and skilled concrete tasks on active jobsites. Expect steady work, on-the-job training, and opportunities to gain certifications if you want to move up.
What You'll Do
- • Strip formwork and clean forms after pours
- • Vibrate, consolidate, and assist with concrete placement
- • Assist with concrete bucket operations and guide placement as directed
- • Load, unload and move materials and equipment around the jobsite
- • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures
- • Participate in on-site training and follow directions from supervisors
What We're Looking For
- • Minimum 1 year related construction or concrete experience
- • Able to strip formwork, vibrate concrete, and assist with concrete buckets
- • Comfortable with heavy material handling and basic rigging tasks (rigging a plus)
- • Follow jobsite safety rules; OSHA 10 preferred
- • Reliable transportation to site preferred and ability to work a commercial schedule, including potential overtime
Qualifications
- • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- • OSHA 10 (preferred)
- • Rigging certification or experience (plus)
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
