Concrete Skilled Laborer
About this role
Work on commercial concrete jobsites in Cape Canaveral as a Skilled Laborer supporting concrete pours, formwork, and material logistics. This hands-on role pairs general labor duties with specific concrete tasks performed under site supervision. You’ll strip formwork, vibrate concrete, assist with concrete bucket operations, handle materials and equipment, and keep the jobsite clean and safe. Expect steady project assignments, site-specific safety training, and opportunities to earn certifications and advance your skills.
What you'll do
- • Strip formwork and perform concrete finishing support, including vibrating concrete
- • Assist with concrete bucket operations and pour support under supervisor direction
- • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment around the jobsite
- • Maintain clean, safe worksites and follow all site safety procedures
- • Participate in site safety meetings, training, and required certifications
- • Perform general labor tasks as assigned to support crew productivity
What we're looking for
- • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience
- • Hands-on experience stripping formwork, vibrating concrete, or working bucket operations
- • Comfort with material handling, cleaning jobsite areas, and basic rigging tasks
- • Able to work outdoors in varying weather and lift heavy loads regularly
- • OSHA 10 and rigging certification are a plus
- • Reliable transportation to Cape Canaveral job sites preferred
Qualifications
- • OSHA 10 (preferred)
- • Rigging certification or demonstrable rigging experience (preferred)
- • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- • High school diploma or GED
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
- • Basic English proficiency for safe communication on site
