Licensed Crane Operator

About this role

We are hiring licensed crane operators in Manchester, NH for hands-on lifting and hoisting work on active construction sites. This role focuses on safe crane setup, following load charts, coordinating lifts with riggers and site supervision, and executing a variety of construction lifts (including setting rebar cages). Ideal candidates are experienced operators who work safely, read lift plans, and communicate clearly on site. You’ll join local projects with steady schedules and work directly with rigging crews, foremen, and engineers to complete safe, efficient lifts.

What you'll do

• • Set up, inspect, and operate mobile and tower cranes for daily lifts following site procedures
• • Read and follow load charts, lift plans, and rigging diagrams for each lift
• • Signal and communicate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervision to coordinate lifts
• • Rig, hoist, lift and set rebar cages and other prefabricated components as required
• • Perform pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance checks, and report equipment issues
• • Maintain accurate lift logs and follow all site safety and OSHA requirements

What we're looking for

• • Valid crane operator license or nationally recognized certification and proven crane operation experience
• • Hands-on rigging and hoisting experience, including lift planning and reading rigging diagrams
• • Proficient in crane signaling and clear communication with riggers and site personnel
• • Experience lifting and setting rebar cages and working on general construction projects
• • Ability to follow load charts, site-specific safety plans, and direction from site supervision
• • Reliable attendance, ability to work full-time construction schedules and travel to local job sites in Manchester, NH

Qualifications

• • Valid crane operator license or nationally recognized certification (state or national)
• • Rigging and signal-person certification or documented signaling experience
• • Minimum 3 years operating cranes on construction sites preferred
• • Ability to read load charts, lift plans, and basic construction drawings
• • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
