Licensed Crane Operator

About This Role

Licensed crane operators needed in Manchester, NH for construction lifting and hoisting work. You’ll run mobile and lattice cranes on concrete and general construction projects, lift and set rebar cages, move materials, and work closely with riggers and site supervision. This is hands-on work: safe crane setup, following load charts and lift plans, clear signaling, and careful load handling. Local day shifts with opportunities for overtime. Pay is competitive and based on license type and experience.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, inspect, and perform pre-operation checks on cranes; ensure safe placement and stabilization
  • Operate crane to lift, move, place materials and set rebar cages per lift plans
  • Read and follow load charts, rigging specifications, and approved lift procedures
  • Signal and communicate clearly with riggers, spotters, and site supervision
  • Maintain daily operation logs, report equipment issues, and follow site safety procedures
  • Assist riggers with slinging, taglines, and secure rigging as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Valid crane operator license (state or NCCCO) required
  • 2+ years operating cranes on construction sites preferred
  • Strong rigging, hoisting, lift planning, and crane signaling skills
  • Ability to read load charts and follow rigging requirements and lift plans
  • Physically able to climb, inspect gear, and work outdoors in variable conditions
  • Reliable transportation to Manchester job sites and ability to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

  • Crane operator license (state-issued or NCCCO) — required
  • Rigging certification or formal rigging training (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Clear communication in English for signaling and safety
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
