Crane Operator — Telescopic & RT

About This Role

Looking for an experienced crane operator based in Louisville, KY. This role runs a daytime schedule (7:00am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri) with frequent overtime, weekend and night work as needed. You’ll run RT cranes and telescopic boom swing‑cab cranes on local and regional sites. Pay is up to $38.00/hr with $105/day per diem for qualifying days. Candidates must hold NCCCO TLL certification and have at least 1 year operating RT cranes under 250 tons. All hires must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, a fit-for-duty medical exam, and a background check.

What You'll Do

• • Operate RT cranes and telescopic boom swing-cab cranes safely and according to lift plans and site procedures
• • Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections; document daily equipment checks and report defects
• • Follow crane signaling and rigging directions; participate in multi-crane and critical lifts
• • Keep clear communication with riggers, supervisors and site teams; maintain clean, safe work area
• • Remain available for scheduled overtime, weekend and night shifts as required
• • Load, secure and transport small crane attachments and tools to and from job sites as needed

What We're Looking For

• • NCCCO TLL (Telescopic Boom Crane – Swing Cab) certification required
• • Minimum 1 year operating RT cranes under 250 tons
• • Proven skills in crane signaling, lift planning, critical lifting and multi-crane lifts
• • Available for day shift (7:00am–5:30pm) and willing to work overtime, weekends and nights
• • Ability to pass pre-access drug & alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical exam and background check

Qualifications

• • NCCCO Crane Certification — TLL (Telescopic Boom, Swing Cab)
• • At least 1 year experience on RT cranes <250 tons
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Willing/able to pass drug & alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical and background check
• • Signal/rigging certification or experience preferred
