Crane Operator
About This Role
Experienced crane operators with a current NCCCO TLL certification are needed for nationwide assignments. You’ll run RT (rough-terrain) telescopic-boom cranes under 250 tons, work to lift plans, and handle rigging and load placement safely and efficiently. Pay is strong and includes a daily per diem for travel assignments. Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with significant overtime, nights and weekend work as needed. All offers are contingent on passing pre-access drug and alcohol testing, a fit-for-duty medical, and a background check.
What You'll Do
- • Operate RT (rough-terrain) telescopic boom cranes under 250 tons following load charts and lift plans
- • Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance; report defects immediately
- • Rig and unrig loads, attach telescopic boom attachments, set rebar cages and handle hoist duties as directed
- • Coordinate with rigging crew, signalpersons and foremen to sequence lifts and maintain site safety
- • Keep accurate shift logs, equipment checklists and required documentation
- • Follow site-specific safety procedures, OSHA rules and company/contractor lift plans
What We're Looking For
- • Current NCCCO TLL (Telescopic Boom Crane — Swing Cab) certification
- • Minimum 1 year operating RT cranes under 250 tons
- • Proven rigging skills, hoist/lift experience and ability to work from lift plans
- • Able to read load charts, follow signals and communicate clearly on-site
- • Willingness to work Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:30pm with overtime, nights and weekends as required
- • Ability to pass pre-access drug & alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical and background check
Qualifications
- • NCCCO TLL certification (required)
- • 1+ year RT crane operating experience (<250 tons)
- • Proven rigging and lift planning experience
- • Valid government ID / driver's license and reliable transportation
- • Able to pass drug & alcohol testing, fit-for-duty medical, and background check
