Drywall Framer / Hanger

About This Role

We’re hiring experienced Drywall Framers and Hangers for commercial projects in Peachtree Corners, GA. You’ll work on metal stud framing, hanging and fastening drywall, and finishing commercial interiors on active job sites. Pay is up to $28/hr depending on experience. This role is hands-on and production-focused. Candidates should bring 4–6 years of commercial construction experience, be comfortable with power and hand tools, and work well on a crew to meet schedule and quality expectations.

What You'll Do

• • Read plans and layouts; set and install metal stud framing for commercial interiors
• • Measure, cut and hang drywall sheets; fasten and align panels to meet level and plumb standards
• • Install acoustical ceiling systems and ceiling tiles on commercial projects as required
• • Perform taping, mudding and sanding to specified finish levels or prepare walls for tapers
• • Load, unload and stage materials on site; perform site cleanup and maintain orderly work areas
• • Use hand and power tools safely; report defects and follow site safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• • 4–6 years commercial construction experience as a drywall framer/hanger
• • Proven experience with metal stud framing, drywall hanging and fastening
• • Skilled in measuring, cutting, leveling and alignment for commercial work
• • Experience with acoustical ceiling tile installation and general drywall finishing (taping, mudding, sanding)
• • Able to operate common hand and power tools and lift heavy materials regularly
• • Reliable, team-oriented, attention to detail, and production-focused on meeting schedules

Qualifications

• • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 preferred (or willing to obtain)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and stand for extended periods
• • Willingness to pass background check and drug screen
• • Basic English for reading plans, following instructions, and crew communication
