Drywall Framer / Ceiling Tile Installer

About this role

We’re hiring a skilled Drywall Framer to hang, tape and finish drywall and install ceiling tile on commercial and residential jobs across Colorado Springs. This is hands-on work: you’ll measure, cut, fit and finish materials to deliver neat, durable interiors that meet plans and safety requirements. Expect day-shift work on active job sites with a steady schedule and occasional overtime or Saturday shifts when projects demand. You’ll work with small crews, follow site-specific safety rules, and keep tools and materials organized so projects run on time.

What you'll do

• • Measure, cut and hang drywall, corner bead and related materials on walls and ceilings
• • Tape, mud and finish joints to produce smooth surfaces ready for paint or texture
• • Install ceiling tile and grid systems to specifications
• • Read plans and layout walls, openings and soffits to match project drawings
• • Operate drywall lifts, lifts and hand tools safely; secure materials and fasteners
• • Keep work area clean, stock materials and report shortages or defects

What we're looking for

• • Minimum 2 years experience installing and finishing drywall on commercial and/or residential projects
• • Comfortable using hand and power tools, drywall lifts and basic layout tools
• • Able to read basic blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions
• • Own basic hand tools and reliable transportation to local job sites
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on scaffolding or lifts, and work at heights when required

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• • OSHA 10 (preferred) or willingness to complete site safety training
• • Familiarity with local building codes and quality standards
• • Ability to pass a drug screen and basic background check
• • Spanish language skills a plus
