Drywall Supervisor

Nashville, TN $21-$26/hr

About this role

Lead and supervise commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling crews on large projects across the Nashville metro. You’ll run day-to-day site work, verify layout and installations, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with project managers to keep jobs on schedule and within budget. This is a hands-on supervisory role — you’ll be out with the crew performing installs, troubleshooting complex details, and keeping accurate progress and material records. Typical schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday with early starts; occasional nights or weekends as project needs require.

What you'll do

  • Supervise drywall and acoustical ceiling crews on commercial sites; assign tasks and monitor productivity
  • Verify layout, metal stud framing, soffits, ceilings, and drywall hanging for level, alignment and code compliance
  • Coordinate daily schedules, material deliveries, and manpower with project managers
  • Enforce site safety and quality controls; conduct toolbox talks and jobsite inspections
  • Troubleshoot installation issues, provide practical solutions, and perform hands-on work when needed
  • Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and punch lists until closeout

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years commercial drywall experience on medium to large commercial projects
  • Proven ability with acoustical ceiling installation, metal stud framing, soffits and partitions
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, hanging, finishing and aligning drywall and ceiling systems
  • Familiar with laser levels, layout techniques, and reading construction plans
  • Comfortable supervising crews, enforcing safety, and communicating with project management

Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid
  • OSHA 30 (preferred) or OSHA 10
  • Powder-actuated / manufacturer tool certification or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 3 years commercial drywall experience

What we offer

  • Health insurance options and safety gear provided
  • Paid time off and holiday pay
  • Tool allowance or company-provided equipment
  • Paid training and certification reimbursements (site-specific training and OSHA refreshers)
  • Consistent commercial work across the Nashville metro with overtime opportunities
