Drywall & Ceiling Tile Installer

About this role

We are hiring experienced drywall and acoustical ceiling installers for projects throughout Charlotte, NC. You'll work on commercial and residential jobs installing, finishing, and repairing drywall and ceiling systems as part of a crew. This is hands-on, full-time project work with day-shift schedules and occasional overtime depending on project needs. You should be comfortable reading basic plans, working on stilts and scaffolding, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.

What you'll do

• • Install and finish drywall (hang, tape, mud, sand) on commercial and residential projects
• • Install acoustical ceiling systems and ceiling grids to specifications
• • Frame interior nonbearing partitions and perform steel framing tasks
• • Read and follow basic plans/layouts; measure and cut materials to fit
• • Set up and work from scaffolding and stilts; load/unload materials and operate lift equipment when required
• • Maintain clean, safe job sites and report defects or material issues

What we're looking for

• • Proven experience installing and finishing drywall and ceiling systems
• • Comfortable working on stilts and scaffolding and following safe work practices
• • Ability to read basic drawings, measure accurately, and cut materials to spec
• • Experience with steel framing for interior partitions and acoustical ceiling installation
• • Able to handle material loading/unloading and routine concrete site tasks as needed
• • Forklift operation experience is a plus

Qualifications

• • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 preferred
• • Forklift certification preferred
• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to read and understand English-language plans and safety instructions
