Drywall / Ceiling Tile Installer — Charlotte, NC

About This Role

Seeking experienced drywall and ceiling tile installers for commercial and residential projects in Charlotte, NC. You’ll install and finish drywall, hang and fit acoustical ceilings, work with steel framing and perform quality finishing on a variety of job types. Pay is competitive and based on experience; weekly pay and steady assignments available. You’ll work with a crew, follow basic plans and layouts, use scaffolds and stilts when needed, and keep the jobsite safe and clean. This role is hands-on and physical — ideal for reliable tradespeople who take pride in solid, consistent workmanship.

What You'll Do

• • Measure, cut, hang and finish drywall on interior and exterior nonbearing partitions
• • Install acoustical ceiling tile systems and associated grid/track work
• • Tape, mud and sand joints to produce smooth finished surfaces
• • Set up and work from scaffolding and stilts; follow layout and basic plans
• • Load/unload materials and operate forklifts or material-handling equipment as needed
• • Maintain clean, safe work areas and report safety concerns promptly

What We're Looking For

• • Proven drywall installation and finishing experience on commercial or residential jobs
• • Experience with acoustical ceiling installation and steel framing for interior partitions
• • Comfortable working on stilts and using scaffolding systems
• • Ability to read basic drawings/layouts and measure/cut accurately
• • Able to load/unload material, perform site cleanup and operate a forklift (preferred)
• • Physical stamina: lift heavy materials and work on ladders/scaffolds safely

Qualifications

• • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• • Minimum 2 years hands-on drywall/acoustical ceiling experience preferred
• • OSHA 10-hour or site safety training preferred
• • Forklift certification preferred; ability to pass drug screen if required
• • Ability to communicate in English on-site for safety and coordination
