Drywall / Ceiling Tile Installer

About This Role

Join a commercial crew in Raleigh, NC as a Drywall / Ceiling Tile Installer working on offices, retail, and institutional builds. You’ll work day-to-day with metal stud framing, measure and cut materials, hang and fasten drywall, and perform finishing or ceiling grid work on commercial jobs. This role is for hands-on installers with at least 2 years of commercial experience. Expect steady commercial work, overtime opportunities, and pay based on experience. What You'll Do

• • Layout and install metal stud framing and interior nonbearing partitions per plans
• • Measure, cut and hang drywall panels; fasten to studs and align for even surfaces
• • Perform drywall finishing tasks (taping, feathering, sanding) when required
• • Install ceiling suspension systems and ceiling tile where specified
• • Verify level, plumb and alignment; make on-site adjustments to meet specs
• • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe jobsite

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience with metal stud framing
• • Skilled in drywall hanging and/or finishing (taping, mud, sanding)
• • Proficient measuring, cutting and fastening techniques for drywall systems
• • Ability to read basic plans/layouts and follow foreman instructions
• • Reliable transportation to Raleigh job sites and ability to pass background/drug screen

Qualifications

• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • OSHA 10-hour construction card preferred
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work at height on lifts or scaffolds
• • Basic blueprint reading and layout skills
• • English proficiency for on-site communication (Spanish a plus)
