Drywall Repair Technician

About This Role

Experienced drywall service and repair technicians wanted for residential and commercial jobs across the Charlotte, NC metro. This is hands-on work patching, taping, mudding and finishing existing drywall with reliable pay at $24/hr. You’ll travel to homes and commercial sites from Indian Trail and the surrounding Charlotte area, complete quality repairs on schedule, and leave clean, professional finishes. This role requires at least 3 years of drywall experience and a focus on durable, high-quality patch and finish work.

What You'll Do

• • Perform general drywall repairs: patching holes, replacing damaged sections, and repairing seams
• • Tape, mud, and sand to a smooth finish ready for paint or wallpaper
• • Diagnose damage and determine best repair method on site
• • Measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall to existing structures
• • Keep work areas clean, protect customer property, and communicate status with supervisors or customers

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on drywall experience (taping, mudding, sanding, finishing)
• • Skilled in drywall taping, mud application, sanding and final finishing
• • Able to work in both residential and light commercial settings across the Charlotte metro
• • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple job sites in a single day

Qualifications

• • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding safely
• • OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• • Right to work in the U.S.; able to pass background check if required
