Drywall Service & Repair Technician

About This Role

Experienced drywall service and repair technicians needed for residential and commercial projects across the Charlotte metro area, based in Indian Trail, NC. This role pays $24/hr and focuses on quality drywall repairs, patch work, taping, mudding and finishing. You’ll move between homes and commercial sites, delivering paint-ready results. You should have solid hands-on experience, your own basic tools, and reliable transportation to travel across the Charlotte metro. Work is task-driven — arrive on time, follow the work order, finish jobs to a high standard, and keep the site clean before leaving.

What You'll Do

• • Perform general drywall repairs and patch work in residential and commercial spaces
• • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sections; repair holes, seams and damage
• • Apply taping, mudding and sanding to produce smooth, paint-ready finishes
• • Match and blend textures on existing walls and ceilings
• • Read work orders, prep surfaces, and protect floors/furniture on site
• • Travel between job sites across the Charlotte metro and communicate progress with supervisors/customers

What We're Looking For

• • Minimum 3 years hands-on drywall experience (residential and commercial)
• • Proficient in drywall taping, mudding, sanding and finishing
• • Skilled in drywall installation, cutting, patching and repair techniques
• • Ability to produce smooth, paint-ready finishes and match textures
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel across Charlotte metro

Qualifications

• • 3+ years drywall experience (documented preferred)
• • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders and scaffolding safely
• • Basic English for reading work orders and communicating on site
• • OSHA 10 or other safety training preferred
