Drywall / Ceiling Tile Installer - Indian Trail, NC

About this role

Experienced drywall and ceiling tile installers needed to complete service and repair work across the Charlotte, NC metro area. You will travel to residential and commercial sites from an Indian Trail area base and perform patching, taping, mudding, sanding and finish repairs to existing walls and ceilings. This is a hands-on role for reliable technicians with solid finishing skills and at least three years of drywall experience. You must be able to work independently or with a small crew, follow work orders, and deliver clean, durable repairs that match surrounding surfaces.

What you'll do

• • Perform general drywall repairs: patch holes, replace damaged sections, and finish repairs to a smooth, paint-ready surface
• • Tape, mud, and sand joints and patches to meet finish level requirements
• • Install, replace, and repair ceiling tiles and grid systems where required
• • Measure and cut drywall or tile to fit openings, corners and fixtures; prepare surfaces before installation
• • Keep work areas clean, protect customer property, and communicate job status with supervisors or homeowners
• • Travel to multiple job sites across the Charlotte metro area and complete assigned daily work orders

What we're looking for

• • Minimum 3 years hands-on drywall experience, including taping, mudding, sanding and finishing
• • Proven ability to match textures and blend repairs into existing finishes
• • Comfort working on ladders and scaffolds and lifting materials regularly
• • Reliable transportation and ability to travel across the Charlotte metro area for multiple daily sites
• • Basic tools for drywall work (knife, trowels, tapes, sanding tools); willingness to use company-provided equipment as needed

Qualifications

• • At least 3 years of relevant drywall/ceiling tile experience
• • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where required
• • Comfort lifting 50+ lbs and working at height on ladders/scaffolds
• • OSHA 10 or similar safety training preferred; ability to follow site-specific safety procedures
