Drywall Framer / Acoustical Ceiling Installer
About This Role
Join our crew in Atlanta as a Drywall Framer / Acoustical Ceiling Installer. You’ll install drywall and acoustical ceilings on commercial and light‑commercial jobs, working on stilts for elevated work. This is hands‑on work—measuring, cutting, hanging, fastening, trim and patch to deliver clean, durable finishes. Pay range is $10–$26/hr depending on experience. You’ll work with a small crew, follow project plans, and help keep the jobsite safe and productive. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required to communicate with the team and follow instructions.
What You'll Do
- • Install acoustical ceilings and hang drywall on interior projects according to plans
- • Work on stilts for elevated installations and perform safe, stable elevated work
- • Measure, mark, cut, fit and fasten drywall and trim; patch and finish as required
- • Build and install steel framing for interior nonbearing walls and partitions
- • Coordinate with crew for efficient job progress and maintain a clean, safe work area
What We're Looking For
- • Proven experience installing acoustical ceilings and hanging drywall
- • Comfortable and experienced working on stilts for extended periods
- • Skilled at measuring, cutting, hanging, fastening, trim, and patch work
- • Experience with steel framing for interior nonbearing partitions
- • Able to read basic plans, follow instructions, and work as part of a crew
Qualifications
- • Bilingual: Spanish and English (required)
- • Hands-on experience with stilts and acoustical ceiling systems
- • Experience with drywall hanging, fastening, cutting and patching
- • Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license preferred
