Electrician Foreman
About This Role
Electrician Foreman needed in Orlando, FL. $25–$36/hr. Lead hands-on commercial electrical work — conduit bending, transformer installation and maintenance, medium- and high-voltage systems, lighting, low-voltage, standby/emergency systems and branch/feeder load calculations. You’ll run crews on commercial construction sites, troubleshoot complex electrical systems, enforce safety and code compliance, and mentor journeymen and apprentices. This role is for an English-speaking leader who can read plans, make load calculations, and deliver reliable, quality work on schedule.
What You'll Do
- • Supervise and direct commercial electrical crews on construction sites; assign tasks, set priorities, and enforce safety.
- • Perform conduit bending and layout, run feeders and branch circuits, and supervise installation of commercial services.
- • Install, maintain and test transformers, medium- and high-voltage equipment, and overcurrent devices.
- • Install lighting, low-voltage systems, and standby/emergency systems; commission and troubleshoot generator/transfer setups.
- • Perform branch circuit and feeder load calculations, verify code compliance, and document as-built work.
- • Coordinate materials and equipment, resolve field issues, and train/mentor apprentices and journeymen.
What We're Looking For
- • Proven hands-on experience with conduit bending, transformer installation/maintenance, and medium/high-voltage work in commercial settings.
- • Skilled at branch circuit and feeder load calculations and selection/installation of overcurrent devices.
- • Experience installing commercial electrical services, lighting, low-voltage and standby/emergency systems.
- • Prior foreman or lead experience directing crews, scheduling work, and ensuring quality.
- • Must be English-speaking and able to read electrical plans and specifications.
Qualifications
- • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
- • OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification preferred
- • 3+ years commercial electrical experience including medium/high-voltage and transformer work
- • Prior foreman or lead experience supervising crews
- • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- • English fluency required
