Journeyman Electrician
About This Role
We are seeking state-licensed journeyman electricians for projects based in Santa Teresa, NM. Ideal candidates have solid commercial, data center, or other large-scale electrical project experience and are comfortable working on complex, high-volume installations. Candidates based in New Mexico or Texas are preferred; relocation assistance is available for the right hire. This is hands-on field work — running conduit, setting distribution gear, installing lighting and emergency systems, and reading blueprints every day. Bilingual English/Spanish speakers are strongly prioritized. Competitive pay based on experience, overtime available, and training support for continued certification.
What You'll Do
- • Install, wire, and commission commercial and data center electrical systems: feeders, panels, switchgear, transformers, and distribution equipment
- • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to lay out and complete work per specifications
- • Install lighting systems, control wiring, and select/install overcurrent protection devices
- • Install and maintain standby and emergency power systems, transfer switches, and UPS systems
- • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and preventative maintenance on high-volume electrical installations
- • Follow safety procedures, maintain jobsite cleanliness, and coordinate with other trades to meet project schedules
What We're Looking For
- • State-licensed journeyman electrician in New Mexico or Texas, or willing to relocate and obtain the required state license
- • Proven commercial, data center, or large-scale electrical project experience (installation and troubleshooting)
- • Skilled in reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints
- • Experience with distribution equipment installation/maintenance and selection/installation of overcurrent devices
- • Comfortable working on complex, high-volume installs with tight schedules and quality standards
- • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Qualifications
- • State-licensed journeyman electrician (New Mexico or Texas) — required
- • Completion of electrical apprenticeship or equivalent commercial experience
- • Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred
- • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
- • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
